MEXICAN CHILI MACARONI RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:
       

  • 1 Lb. Lean ground beef
  • 2- 3/4 cups hot water
  • 1 Betty Crocker Hamburger  Helper (Mexican Chili Macaroni).

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Brown ground beef in skillet. Drain.
  • Stir in hot water, sauce mix, and uncooked pasta.
  • Heat to boiling. Stirring occasionally.
  • Reduce heat. Cover; simmer about 10 minutes, stirring occassionally, until pasta is tender.
  • Serve!

PINOY PORK ADOBO (BRAISED PORK) RECIPE




Pork Adobo (Adobong Baboy) is a pork braised or marinated in soy sauce, vinegar, peppercorns and garlic. This is an all time Filipino favorite dish. Pork Adobo (Braised Pork) is great served with steamed rice. This is a Filipino national dish. You can use pork or chicken in this dish. This recipe is very simple that you can cook anytime when you want.
INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 kilo pork (cut into cubes)
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 1 /4 cup garlic (chopped into small pieces).
  • 4 dried bay leaves
  • 1 tablespoon peppercorns
  • 1 cup rice water (optional)
  • 5 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 5 tablespoons vinegar
  • Cooking Oil
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Marinate pork in soy sauce, garlic, and peppercorns for 1 hour.
  • In a pan, saute onion first until translucent.
  • Stir in the marinated pork and bay leaves. Wait until the juice from the meat has evaporated.
  • Pour in the marinade sauce and mix it well.
  • Pour 1 cup of rice water and mix it well (this is optional).
  • In low heat, let it boil for 30 minutes or until meat is tender.
  • Once the meat is tender pour in vinegar and simmer until a little bit sauce left.
  • Serve and enjoy!
